I’m not much of a boulderer, but Peter Beal was nice enough to give me a tour of the climbing in Lower Chaos Canyon in RMNP, anyway.
It’s hard to haul your stuff up there. The air’s thin. The tourists are thick.
The climbing is amazing.
I highly recommend checking out Chaos bouldering before the season ends. But do try to find a tour guide to save yourself some time and boulder-finding frustration…then again, the treasure is well worth some initial hunting. It’s all in today’s Field Notes.
