I’m not much of a backcountry boozer myself…though I won’t turn down a sip of whiskey from a friend’s flask, especially on those cold ice climbing days.
However, this summer I might have to try the backcountry gin & tonic Paul Magnanti suggested in my story today on booze in your backpack.
Just add snow.
Ted Alvarez, Backpacker magazine’s blogmaster, had some excellent suggestions as well. For example, I’d never heard of the Platypus PlatyPreserve.
Pass the vino…across the snow.
