And after writing this story about running-form tips, I know I’m doing a few things wrong. Maybe you are, too.
The doctors from Alternative Family Medicine gave me a tip that, though useful, didn’t make it into the story. If you run on the road, they said, don’t always run on the same side of the road. The road has a cant, so you’ll unwittingly have one foot striking lower than the other all the time. It’s easy to see how this could cause problems in the long run.
