Sunny, clear sidewalks, highs nearing 50 today — it seems like a much more reasonable day to go running barefoot than the day I met Michael Sandler and Jessica Lee. Last Friday, as it snowed, I met them at the South Boulder Rec Center and chatted with them as they warmed up inside on a treadmill before heading out for a barefoot run around the lake. Here’s the story.
And to think: Before this, I was amazed by people who run with bare legs in the winter…
