Huh, I guess that does bring a new dimension to the word ‘free.’ Loveland’s Mountaintop Matrimony isn’t really for people looking to score a two-for-one lift ticket. It’s for scoring a spouse.
Here’s how it works: Pre-register. Bring your Colorado marriage license to Loveland Sunday morning to sign in by 10:30 a.m. Couples must be at the top of Chair 2 by 11:30 a.m. The mass wedding ceremony at Ptarmagin Roost starts at noon.
Caveat: You must be able to ski or ride down the mountain after the ceremony.
